Robert Moran’s professional aspirations roll on after a terrific final round saw him breeze through the First Stage of DP World Tour Q-School at The Players Club.

The Castle golfer carded his best round of the week, a three-under 67 to share tenth place on two-over-par comfortably inside the top-19 cut off point to book his place in Stage Two in Spain this November.

The Irish Close champion was the only Irishman to come through with Daniel Mulligan missing out by two shots in 28th on six-over while Devin Morley was a shot further back.

Paul Murphy and Jack Madden finished well down the leaderboard on ten-over and eleven-over respectively.

Robert Dinwiddie was the top qualifier on eight-under-par.
