Lainey Campbell was the winner of the Munster U16 Girls’ Ryan Cup. The event took place at Tipperary Golf Club on 24 August which saw 38 girls compete over 18 holes of Stableford.
The Ballyneety golfer shot a great score of 41 points to take the tile. She finished 3 points clear of Emily Griffith (Westport) who finished in second after a back nine countback. Athenry’s Aoife McCormack finished in third after posting a round of 38 points.
Noreen O’Neill (Connemara) won the best gross on the day with a score of 29 gross points.
