Lucy Gratton was the winner of the Munster Girls U18 Amateur Open. The event took place at Charleville Golf Club on 15 August which saw 29 girls compete over 18 holes of stroke play.
The Tralee golfer was victorious after carding a round of +7. This gave her a one-shot victory over Ella Cantwell (Esker Hills) who finished in second. Knock’s Maddie Armstrong finished in third on a score of +9 after beating Jessica Reynolds (Co. Sligo) on a count back.
It was a double joy for Maddie Armstrong as she also took home the Alice Coman Plate for H.I 12.0+ on the day.
