The leading three players not already exempt who make the cut in the Genesis Scottish Open will earn places in The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool next week.
The Genesis Scottish Open is the fifteenth event in The Open Qualifying Series and will be played from 13-16 July at the Renaissance Club.
Holywood’s Tom McKibbin will hope to play his way into the reckoning after capturing a maiden DP World Tour title at last month’s Porsche European Open.

In the event of a tie for a qualifying place, the player with the higher ranking in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) at the beginning of the week commencing 10 July will be awarded a place in The 151st Open.
The Open is golf’s original championship. Played since 1860 on iconic links golf courses, it is the sport’s most international Major Championship with qualifying events on every continent. For one week each year, the pursuit of the famous Claret Jug trophy is the focus of the sporting world, followed globally by millions of fans.
Staged by The R&A, The Open delivers an annual economic benefit of around £100 million to its host region, while the Championship’s commercial success supports the development of the game, worldwide.
