The second day of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was greeted with delays Friday morning due dense fog engulfing the Monterey Peninsula and the day ended earlier when heavy mist rolling in off the Pacific.
But before the second round could get under way we had many players and amateurs still to finish their first round.
The second round finally started at 10:30am but then with dense fog and intermittent showers, adding to the soaked layouts at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. When play was called there was around 30 players who managed to complete two rounds.
Seamus Power and Shane Lowry are both on -3 in a tie for 24th. Lowry has eight holes still to complete in his second round on Monterey Peninsula while Power has six to complete at Pebble Beach. Padraig Harrington who is paired with Lowry looks like he will miss the three round cut as he sits in a tie for 103rd on +3.
In the team event Lowry is playing with Gerry McManus as his amateur partner and they are on -9 which is seven off the lead held by Jordan Spieth / Jake Owen. Harrington playing with Dermot Desmond are on -3 in a tie for 117th.

Leading the pack in both the pro and amateur event is Jordan Spieth on -10 after 36 holes with his musician partner, Jake Owen. Playing opposite them was Dustin Johnson with “The Great One” Wayne Gretsky.
Comedian Ray Romano was thanked continually by volunteers for the top show he put on for them Thursday night. Romano was “in the mood for a swing thought as I’m just not hittin’ it well. Help.”
Justin Rose and Justin Timberlake were having a tough time with “these brutal conditions”.
Actor Mark Wahlberg’s stellar lefty swing excited the fans lining the fairways even though he was having some back issues after the first nine holes.
Play was called at 4:00 due to fog; many teams were still out, some with as many as seven holes remaining. Spieth -10 holds Clubhouse lead, while Derek Fathauer was at -10 with a hole to play, and Jason Day lurks at -9 with six holes to play.
