A second consecutive round of 68 helped Max Kennedy maintain his challenge at the South American Amateur Championship in Ecuador as he moved to within three shots of the lead heading into the final round.
Kennedy is in solo second on seven-under and will once again be in the final group with Mexican Jose C Islas who remains in front on ten-under-par after a 70.
