Chloe Ryan (Castletroy) and Annabel Wilson (Lurgan) were the best placed Irish players as they finished T3 at the Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open in Troon.
Wilson had held third place heading into the final round and was just four strokes off the lead held by Linn Grant (Sweden) but a closing 75 in tough conditions meant she stayed in 3rd. Ryan on the other hand carded her third successive 72 to move up to T3 from 11th place overnight. Grant took the title after a closing 72 gave her a five shot victory.
Of the other Irish players who made the cut, Paul Grant (Lisburn) finished T21, Ciara Casey (Hermitage) T31, Valerie Clancy (Killarney) & Mairead Martin (Kanturk) T37 and Sinead Sexton (Lahinch) T50.
