Seamus Power took another big step towards retaining his PGA Tour on Saturday in the Barracuda Championship in Reno.

Despite a late bogey on the 17th the West Waterford man carded a four under par total and racked up ten points in the Modified Stableford event at Montreux Golf & Country Club.
Power currently sits on the bubble at 126 on the FedEx cup rankings just one place outside the top 125 who will keep their cards after the Wyndham Championship in two weeks’ time.

However Power is projected to move up to 119th if he maintains his current position of a tie for 14th going into today’s final round.
Greg Owen leads the event on a score of +37 which is 11 points ahead of Power.
A strong Sunday finish would be huge for the 30-year old who can all but guarantee his playing rights for 2018 tonight.
