Thomas Abom is the 2022 Leinster Boys’ Open champion.
The Edmondstown golfer finished on -1 after three rounds in Malahide, to win by two shots.
Abom started the final round in fourth place, but a brilliant round of 69 saw him win courtesy of an error-free 33 on the back nine that included three birdies and no bogeys.
Elm Park’s Jake Foley and Co. Sligo’s Sean McLoughlin finished on +1, with overnight leader Eoin Magill (East Clare) finishing in fourth place on +2.
Tullamore’s Evan Monaghan won the Under-17 competition on +6 finishing in T6 overall.
