Paula Grant and Alex Gleeson are in the mix heading into Tuesday’s final round of the South American Amateur Championship in Argentina.

Grant fired an eagle, four birdies and just one bogey in carding a five-under 67 to move up to tied fourth on one-under par.
Grant sits just three shots off the lead held by Silvia Garces (70) and Maria Serrano (71) of Colombia, who lead by a shot on four-under from Paraguay’s Milagros Chaves at Martindale Country Club on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
Annabel Wilson also had an excellent moving day as she carded an eagle, six birdies with one bogey and two double bogeys in a three-under 69 to move up 23 spots to tied 16th on +5 for the week.

In the men’s event Alex Gleeson posted a third successive 70 to lie on -6. Gleeson sits in a tie for fourth but is eight strokes behind Canada’s Chris Crisologo, who shot 66 to lead on 14-under.
Robin Dawson jumped 21 spots to tied 17th on one-under after a 71 featuring three birdies and two bogeys.
