In a special edition of the podcast, we caught up with Gavin Moynihan ahead of his long-awaited return to action at this week’s Magical Kenya Open. After a torrid time of missed cuts last season, the 26-year old is hoping that a fresh start on the Challenge Tour in 2021 can spark his safe passage back to the Promised Land of the main European Tour. We touched on the highlights of Gavin’s professional career to date, including his GolfSixes win alongside Paul Dunne and an agonising near-miss for a hole-in-one that would’ve seen him drive home in a €150,000 BMW from the French Open. He also reflects on the difficulties of darker days on Tour and a winter’s work in Dubai that he hopes will stand him in good stead for a fast start to the new campaign. We hope you enjoy the listen. Let us know what you think.
