There are only a few places left at the 2018 Newry, Mourne & Down Summer Trophy with a couple of weeks left before the first day of this wonderful three day event.
Open to ladies and gents and played over three of the regions best golf courses, the Newry, Mourne and Down Summer Trophy is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in Ireland and finishes with a flourish on the fairways at Royal County Down.
The tournament is played at Spa Golf Club (Day 1), St. Patricks Golf Club (Day 2) and the final day is at the famed Royal County Down Golf Club and your event entry includes a welcome drinks reception on the first night, daily and overall prizes and a gala dinner with entertainment on the final night at the Slieve Donard Hotel
There is no question that the tournament is excellent value for money and a great way to mingle and meet with golfers from all over Europe. It’s also great fun to participate in and with a total prize fund in excess of £3,000 including daily prizes for category winners (Ladies, Gents & Seniors) as well as overall cumulative prizes, there is the opportunity to enjoy some great golf, great ‘craic’ and relax in the friendly surroundings of the Newry, Mourne & Down District.
The event is run on a singles stableford format which combines daily and cumulative scoring to decide the eventual overall champion.
On the final day, participants will take to the Championship Links at Royal County Down which has been called by many the best golf course in the world….so what’s not to like!
