The Irish Golfer event series moved to Luttrellstown Castle Golf Club yesterday and competitors coming off the McKenzie/Steele design were full of praise for the North Dublin venue.
Scoring was difficult with damp conditions, unusual in recent times. But with the greenkeepers jumping for joy as they looked out their windows at the precipitation, the players were the ones smiling at the end of the day after a superb days golf on one of the premier venues in the region.
