Mizuno hasn’t released a wedge under the Mizuno Pro name since 2014’s MP-T5 wedge, but now the company is ready to bring wedges back under their premier family. With the new Mizuno Pro T-1 and T-3 wedges, Mizuno has created two wedge lines that can cater to players of multiple skill levels setting new standards in feel, performance, and versatility for the companies wedge offering.

These wedges are engineered to provide golfers with ultimate precision and control, whether they are competing at the highest level or enjoying a round with friends. Both the T-1 and T-3 are crafted to deliver unmatched spin consistency and a feel that only Mizuno can offer, making them an essential addition to any short-game arsenal.

Featuring Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged HD process and constructed from 1025 Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel, with a Copper Underlay, the T-1 wedges offer a buttery smooth feel that is synonymous with Mizuno forged offerings. The compact Teardrop Shape, coupled with a straighter leading edge, gives these wedges an elegant yet highly functional profile, ideal for precision shots and effortless turf interaction.

One of the standout features of the T-1 is its array of six sole profiles: S, M, P, C, V, and X, ensuring that every golfer can find the perfect option for their unique wedge-playing style and course conditions. Whether you prefer full shots or delicate greenside play, these profiles provide exceptional versatility. The M sole (Mid Bounce) replaces the previous T24 D-Grind, while the P sole (Plus Bounce) builds on a similar D-profile, offering added bounce for more versatility.

In addition to its versatility, the T-1 wedges are engineered to provide spin consistency in all conditions. Thanks to the Quad Cut + Grooves and Hydroflow Micro Grooves technology, these wedges offer remarkable spin performance even in wet conditions. The tighter groove pattern maximises spin rates, while the Hydroflow technology helps channel moisture away from the grooves for consistent performance, regardless of the weather. The T-1 wedges’ stronger lofted clubs focus on spin consistency, while the higher lofted clubs maximise greenside spin for ultimate control.

The T-1 wedges are available in three finishes for right-handed golfers: Blue Ion, Black Ion, and Soft White Satin, with a Soft White Satin finish available for left-handed golfers.

Meanwhile, the Mizuno Pro T-3 wedges bring an added layer of stability and forgiveness without sacrificing precision or feel. Like the T-1, the T-3 wedges are forged using Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged HD process and crafted from 1025 Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel, with a Copper Underlay to ensure the signature Mizuno feel.
What sets the T-3 apart is the inclusion of a shallow cavity back, which increases the head length for improved stability and forgiveness, particularly on off-centre strikes. This feature makes the T-3 wedges a great option for golfers looking for more consistency in their short game.

The T-3 wedges offer three sole profiles: S, M, and C. The M sole replaces the previous S23 D profile, providing a versatile grind suited for a wide range of shots, including full swings, bunker play, and delicate shots around the green. The T-3 wedges also benefit from Quad Cut + Grooves and Hydroflow Micro Grooves, which maintain exceptional spin consistency and control in all weather conditions. Whether you’re dealing with a dry fairway or a wet lie, these wedges offer the confidence you need to make every shot count. The stronger lofted clubs prioritise spin consistency, while the higher lofted clubs focus on generating the maximum spin around the greens.

The T-3 wedges are available in Soft White Satin finish for both right-handed and left-handed golfers.
Both the Mizuno Pro T-1 and T-3 wedges are designed to provide golfers with the tools they need to master their short game. The T-1 is ideal for those seeking precision and versatility, while the T-3 offers added stability and forgiveness. Regardless of your preference, Mizuno ensures that you can expect exceptional feel, spin control, and shot-making versatility with every swing.

Mizuno Pro T-1 and T-3 wedges will be available for preorder on Feb. 6th and arrive at retail two weeks later on Feb. 20th. They will have an RRP of €230 per club.
