Paul Coughlan and Brian Doran both secured top-20 finishes at the Argentina Amateur Championship.
Coughlan and Doran were both making their debuts in the event after a season in which they each earned Irish caps for the first time.
Coughlan of Castleknock finished in a share of 15th place on three-udner-par after a final round of 72 followed opening efforts of 68, 74 and 71.
Meanwhile, Millicent’s Doran who won the Mullingar Scratch Cup and Bridgestone Order of Merit in a dream campaign, crept into the top-20 in a share of 19th place on two-under after a final round of 70.
Doran had opened his account with an opening round of 68 and recovered from a second round 77 with a third round of 71.
The championship was won by Brazilian Amateur Andrey Xavier Shares Borges on seventeen-under as rounds of 66, 69, 69 and 67 secured a two shot win.
