Golf Ireland is delighted to announce the appointment of new selection groups for five of our teams for 2025-2027.

2025 will prove to be a big year for the Men’s and Women’s programmes with the World Amateur Team Championships taking place in Singapore next October. The Men’s team also have the exciting prospect of a home European Men’s Team Championship with Killarney Golf & Fishing Club playing host to the six-man team event in early July.

This will be mark the 50th anniversary since the last staging of the European Team Championships at the historic Co. Kerry venue.

Men’s Selection Committee

Captain – Damien Coyne (Tuam)

Selector – TBC

Coach – Michael Collins

 

Women’s Selection Committee

Captain – Gillian O’Leary (The Island)

Selector – Clodagh Walsh (The Island)

Coach – Donal Scott

 

Senior Men’s Selection Committee (2025-26)

Captain – Matt Donohue (Portumna)

Selector – John O’Donoghue (Strandhill)

 

Senior Women’s Selection Committee

Captain – Clodagh Hopkins (Woodbrook)

Selector – Pat Doran (Donabate)

 

G4D Selection Committee

Captain – Paul Kelly (Co. Armagh)

Selector – Gerri Houlihan (Headfort)

Coach – Ian Stafford

 

Neil Manchip (Golf Ireland HP Director) also sits on all Selection Committees.
