It was all smiles as The Kids Golf Tour continued on Ireland’s west coast with a great day had by all competing for the Connacht Trophy at Co Sligo Golf Club.

The event was the latest leg of the innovative Irish Kids Golf Tour, which provides an event setting for junior golfers to compete in a safe and enjoyable environment on some of Ireland’s best golf courses and Co Sligo didn’t disappoint.

With KPMG on board as leading sponsor, the Irish Kids Golf Tour offers professionally conducted competitions for both boys and girls aged 13 years and under, that help develop players both on and off the golf course. The aim of the tour is to prepare kids for competitive golf and all those in attendance over the weekend certainly got a taste of that.

As part of the sponsorship, KPMG provided goodie bags and branded caps to everyone involved with a total of 600 participants set to enjoy the benefits of the partnership at this year’s events.

It was all about the golf for the young guns however and once again there was a long list of deserved winners but congratulations must go to everyone who has taken part so far.

Next up on the schedule is the Munster mission at Fota Island Resort on August 13thbefore attention turns to the All-Ireland finals at The K Club on August 22nd. All of these events are now sold out but for more information on the Kids Golf Tour, please visit http://irishkidsgolftour.com/
