The Irish Ladies got their Senior Home Internationals bid off to the perfect start with an excellent 6-2 victory over Scotland in Newport yesterday.

The Ladies took a clean sweep of the morning foursomes and never looked back in the afternoon singles, claiming three of the matches for a dominant 6-2 win.

Ireland take on hosts Wales in today’s second match and we wish them the best of luck.

Laura Webb & Sheena McElroy beat ​Fiona De Vries & Frances Millar – 3&2
