The Mary McKenna Diamond Trophy for Senior lady golfers reached the provincial finals stage in Connaught, Munster, Leinster and Ulster with the All-Ireland Finalists now known.

Tuam GC in Connaught and Belvoir Park GC in Ulster have been victorious and will represent their respective provinces and they will be joined by Thurles and Royal Tara at the finals at Woodenbridge on the 9th and 10th of September.

The competition for senior lady golfers commenced at county level in April this year when 80 teams played inter club matches to establish the winners at county level, the winning teams then played inter county matches within their province culminating in the Provincial Finals which are home and away matches..

The format is scotch foursomes with 5 pairs playing with a maximum handicap of 50.  The standard of golf throughout has been excellent with many exciting and very hard fought matches going to the 18th hole and beyond.
