At the South African Strokeplay in George the Irish are going well.

It’s been a great showing thus far from Robin Dawson (Maynooth) and JR Galbraith (Whitehead) at the South African Strokeplay Championship.  Both sit in T2 position at the halfway stage on seven under, just one stroke off the lead held by Sweden’s Oliver Goldberg at the Kingswood Golf Estate in George.

Alex Gleeson (Castle) is in T11 place on two under just six off the pace, while Kevin Le Blanc (The Island) is sitting on level par and T17.

Stuart Grehan is tied 24th with Colin Fairweather and Colm Campbell both making the cut by one stroke on three over par.

Naas’ Conor O’Rourke missed the cut.
