Headfort Golf Club is next up for the 2023 Irish Golfer Events Series which returns to the stunning Kells venue this Friday, May 26th.

Headfort plays host to this year’s Irish Challenge in July where the stars of Europe’s secondary tour will look to take one step closer to DP World Tour promotion.

The Irish Challenge was previously contested at the course in 2019 so Irish Golfer competitors are in for a proper championship test at a course that continues to evolve with each passing year.

Better still, Friday is looking like an absolute scorcher so why not tee off the weekend right?

In addition to the €5,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, a spot at Headfort will come with all the usual Irish Golfer trimmings such as first tee announcements, a welcome gift of a two-ball pack of TaylorMade Tour response golf balls, an Irish Golfer branded hat, nutritional snacks, drinks and branded tees and pencils.

2022 was a record season for Irish Golfer Events as we swept across the country to sold out venues before the Series concluded last October at the Grand Final in the K Club.

This year’s prizes are headlined by the new and improved TaylorMade Stealth 2 with our usual three categories returning to fight for the spoils (Men up to 11 Handicap Index, Men 12-24 H.I. and Ladies up to 36 H.I.), plus the added bonus of Nearest the Pin and Long Drive competitions boasting killer prizes.

As ever, competitions are singles stableford and are open to all players with a Golf Ireland handicap index. With 12 guaranteed prize winners sharing over €5,000 worth of prizes at each event, don’t miss your chance to be part of Ireland’s largest amateur golf series. The three category winners from each event will also qualify for the Grand Final where we will crown our Irish Golfer Champion for 2023.

And if you don’t qualify for the Grand Final as one of the category winners from the events automatically, you can still qualify through the Flogas Order of Merit. Your best four scores across the year will be counted and the Top 10 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will win a place at the Grand Final 2023.

BOOKING IS NOW OPEN HERE

Entry is for €60 for members of host clubs or €75 for guests.
