The K Club’s Palmer South course plays host to the second event on this season’s Irish Golfer Event Series this coming Friday April 28th and there a a few spots remaining on the tee-sheet ahead of game-day.

The Palmer South course played host to last year’s Irish Challenge on Europe’s secondary tour and promises to provide a pristine test for Irish Golfer competitors again this year, boasting some of the best green complexes in the country.

The K Club’s South Course is one of a staggering 16 events before this year’s Grand Final, and in addition to the €5,000 worth of prizes up for grabs at each event, each stop will come with all the usual Irish Golfer trimmings such as first tee announcements, a welcome gift of a two-ball pack of TaylorMade Tour response golf balls, an Irish Golfer branded hat, nutritional snacks, drinks and branded tees and pencils.

2022 was a record season for Irish Golfer Events as we swept across the country to sold out venues before the Series concluded last October at the Grand Final at the K Club’s Palmer North.

This year’s prizes are headlined by the new and improved TaylorMade Stealth 2 with our usual three categories returning to fight for the spoils (Men up to 11 Handicap Index, Men 12-24 H.I. and Ladies up to 36 H.I.), plus the added bonus of two Nearest the Pin competitions boasting killer prizes.

As ever, competitions are singles stableford and are open to all players with a Golf Ireland handicap index. With 12 guaranteed prize winners sharing over €5,000 worth of prizes at each event, don’t miss your chance to be part of Ireland’s largest amateur golf series. The three category winners from each event will also qualify for the Grand Final where we will crown our Irish Golfer Champion for 2023.

And if you don’t qualify for the Grand Final as one of the category winners from the events automatically, you can still qualify through the Flogas Order of Merit. Your best four scores across the year will be counted and the Top 10 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will win a place at the Grand Final 2023.

So why not get your name on the tee-sheet and join in the fun with bookings now open across all of our events
