Srixon launch next generation Soft Feel and UltiSoft balls

Must read

The importance of playing off the ‘right’ tees

After watching Bryson bash his way to US Open glory, it's hard not to feel inadequate when your pitching wedge only goes 80 yards... but maybe you're playing off the wrong tees for your ability?

ANA Inspiration, The Blue Wall, and a lesson for the PGA Tour

There’s nothing worse than burying your head in the sand and pretending everything is rosy, but it's a tactic that the PGA Tour has been deploying unapologetically for years

High science or a load of balls?

To find the ultimate ball for you, a ‘fitting’ under PGA Pro/Trackman supervision is wise. After all, if there's advantage to be had, why not take it?

One Major title or 18 – they’re all special to those on golf’s glory list

The US PGA was a welcome return to the big time despite the lack of spectators. Let's hope the US Open can deliver the goods too

Srixon Golf have today announced the launch of the new Soft Feel and UltiSoft golf balls.

Now in its 6th generation, Srixon engineered the latest iteration of the Soft Feel specifically for golfers wanting to maximise distance and control with exceptional feel. Featuring a soft cover, innovative core and upgraded dimple pattern, the Soft Feel delivers all-around performance from tee-to-green at an unmatched price. Longer, Softer, Better, the new Soft Feel from Srixon.

“The all-new Soft Feel was designed to help players maximise their distance off the tee, while providing even better feel and control,” said Jeff Brunski, Vice President of Research and Development. “The latest generation Soft Feel accomplishes this goal, offering a lower compression ball for incredible distance, but a softer cover to provide that greenside performance all players crave. The Soft Feel provides all-around performance at an incredible value which really separates this golf ball from the rest.”

Srixon worked with Golf Laboratories, Inc. to conduct independent, outdoor robot testing of the new Soft Feel golf ball against key competitors. The results show how Soft Feel provides optimal tee-to-green performance at an incredible value:

The Energetic Gradient Growth Core and new 338 Speed Dimple Pattern provide ideal launch conditions and less drag, which delivers longer driver distance than more expensive ionomer cover competitors.
The Soft Feel stands apart in terms of accurate iron play. The core technology, along with the new aerodynamic dimple pattern, allows the new Soft Feel to cut through any conditions, offering more distance, consistency and control with your irons.
Srixon’s Soft Feel completes its all-around performance and separates from the competition, with better greenside spin and control. Thanks to the thinner, softer cover, the Soft Feel generates more spin on pitch, chips shots than its more expensive competitors.

Available in Soft White, Tour Yellow as well as a Soft Feel Lady model in Soft White and Passion Pink.

UltiSoft
Now in its second generation, the Srixon UltiSoft is a two-piece ball that features a soft, thinner cover, advanced core technology and enhanced dimple pattern. Even softer than the previous model, the new UltiSoft represents the ideal choice for golfers with mid to low swing speeds, seeking exceptional feel around the greens, a higher launch and maximum distance off the tee.
THE KEY ‘TOUR’ TECHNOLOGIES INSIDE THE NEW ULTISOFT INCLUDE:
•          ENERGETIC GRADIENT GROWTH CORE. Softer than before, the variable-compression Energetic Gradient Growth Core gives you a high-launch, low spin trajectory off the tee for added distance and an ultra-soft feel.
•          SOFT, THIN COVER. The soft, thin cover gives you more control around the greens and a softer feel on all shots.
•          338 SPEED DIMPLE PATTERN. Get more distance off the tee with the new 338 Speed Dimple Pattern – created to cut through the wind for maximum distance and accuracy.
The new Srixon UltiSoft and Soft Feel officially launches in the UK & Ireland today with an SRP of €30 per dozen.
