Callaway are getting their teeth stuck into our short games with the new Jaws Mack Daddy 5 Wedges.

Shaped by legendary wedge expert, Roger Cleveland, they offer a new, innovative, sharp-edged groove configuration that works in harmony with proprietary Groove-in-Groove Technology for superior spin and precise control.

Created using a meticulous manufacturing process, the Jaws MD5 groove differs dramatically from the previous design in MD4 to promote significantly more spin and control. The walls, edges and angles of each groove are milled into the face with extreme precision to produce the sharpest edges and tightest tolerances ever achieved by Callaway.

Jaws MD5 also features Callaway’s revolutionary Groove-in-Groove Technology which places a milled ‘Micro-Positive’ surface texture in-between each main groove.  This combined with the new, aggressive Jaws groove help grab the ball’s cover more effectively and significantly increases spin on a variety of shots.  Head shaping has also been optimised and progresses from a traditional shape in the lob and sand wedges to a more compact, better-player-preferred head in the gap and pitching models, offering a seamless transition from irons into wedges.

Precisely shaped for a beautiful look behind the ball and constructed from an 8620 Mild Carbon Steel for maximum feel, MD5 Wedges are available in a beautiful Platinum Chrome lustre, or a darker Tour Grey finish.

Five different bounce configurations are available in a wealth of loft options, including a new Tour-tested low-bounce W Grind and an updated C Grind, to make it easier to play a variety of greenside shots.

This highly versatile range of wedges is completed with a suite of premium components to maximise performance. The men’s range is available as standard with the Lamkin UTX grips and either True Temper Tour Issue 115 steel or Project X Catalyst 80 graphite shafts. Women’s models feature Lamkin Comfort grips and UST Recoil graphite shafts.  Loft options range from 46° through to 64°, with various bounce configurations.

New Jaws Groove Design with Groove-In-Groove Technology for exceptional spin

Precisely shaped for a beautiful look and feel from 8620 Mild Carbon Steel Shaped by Roger Cleveland are pure quality and boast a soft and satisfying feel impossible to disappoint. Two high-end finish options: Platinum Chrome and Tour Grey.

New low-bounce W Grind and updated C Grind for increased versatility

The new Tour-tested W and C grinds are both updated to make it easy to play a wider variety of greenside shots.

Optimised head progression

Head shaping progresses from traditional shaped lob and sand wedges to a compact player preferred design in the gap and pitching wedges for a seamless transition into an iron set.

Jaws MD5 Wedges are available now for €159.
